  • Spare wheel spacers for the 150's

I want to get the spare on my car changed to a Cooper LTZ to match the other 4 but the width will mean it rubs on the car..I have searched and found plenty of 120 prado spacers but nothing for the 150 has anyone seen anything available or is it a do it yourself home made jobbie ?

The 150 is a bit different to the 120 and you can't use the same spacer design/method from the 120. Best bet is to get the Kaymar wheel on door bracket. Or you can wait for me to get pricing for you, but I don't think there will be enough demand for it. The design is already there, just haven't got the fabricator to quote on it yet. Plus the Kaymar unit can cater for the telescoping light.

amts and I tried his spacer and it didn't work as my 150 had studs instead of bolts in the top of the wheel carrier, maybe have a look at how your wheel bracket bolts on though, as it might just be a july 11 build thing.
the kaymar bracket looks quite good, I bought one, however it wasn't bent correctly so didn't fit so am using just a couple of washers at the moment.

Hi guys I had a prado 120 and fitted a spacer to the rear door behind the tyre so I could fit a reverse light to it. This spaces the spare out from the door. Sold that car and brought a 150 and put the same bracket on the 150 with the reverse light and it fits well .ask guys at ARB they should be able to help you out.

Sorry to revive an old thread but it was the most recent I could find. I was fortunate enough to win a Kaymar K7120 Wheel On Door Bracket at the 2014 GTG which included the mount for a telescopic worklight but not the pole or light (which is fine, I'm not complaining). I'm looking at the options to get a worklight added to it and it appears there are 2 versions of the pole available.

The model which includes the light is K0500LED and includes the pole, light, wiring, and switch for around $260-$270. I have also found a model K6002 which is just the pole and wiring, ARB have quoted me $211 for this. Both models and the bracket are shown on this page:-

              http://www.kaymar.com.au/accessories.php

Can anyone confirm the poles are the same? It's a bit hard to tell from the pics on the page but they look the same. There's only a $50-$60 saving to be had by not buying the Kaymar light which is now a 8 x 3w LED job rather than the old halogen type they used to supply. Don't know if it's worth trying to chase an alternative light on eBay, etc.

Anyone? Especially anyone who picked up the full set as a GTG prize, want first impressions of the quality of the supplied LED light if you have had a chance to fit it yet.

How did you go with the light Cory? I picked up one today from ARB and now just need to work out how to run the power feed to it. I have a fuse box running from the aux battery but it's mounted on the inside of the jack bay which is on the wrong side of the door.

Fitted mine but have not run the power yet, when you attach the telescopic pole do not over tighten because it crushes The tube and makes it firm to extend.

Followed through with this a while back and there is now a spacer and telescopic pole for 90, 120 and 150 Prados.
