Be careful with the expensive looking black plastic box hanging off the back of the transfer case (high/low actuator) it sticks out further than most bash plates cover they don't like rocks and break easy.

Luckily managed to get it out of low range by cabletying what was left of the box to the transfer case and with a bit of persuasion it released drove home no worries.Comment

My thoughts exactly but the worst thing was $2000 4 weeks from Japan and you gotta split the transfer case to change itComment

It might be a long shot but I would make an insurance claim.
