Saw a 150 with a Kaymar yesterday. Great finish. Such a shame about the 120 finish, but I hold out on individuals doing a great job. On another point, Powerful 4x4 are bringing out a dual wheel carrier due around Feb 2012.

          was it mine?

not really, I don't have one yet.

but the finish on them is usually pretty impressive, much cleaner than the 120.

bit unfortunate for you mlc, might have to upgrade...

Nah, not you Wooley, I saw it yesterday in Alice Springs. That place is 4wd Nirvana. Every 2 out of 3 cars is a 4wd and a lot of them are 120's and 150s!

I love my 120, just hating Kaymar atm for a second rate job. if I could get a 150 finish on a 120 Kaymar rear I would have bought it already. Oh well, maybe Powerful 4x4 will do the job right.

Working on a shower ensuite pole today that I'm fitting to the spare wheel carrier...I noticed the whole bar flexes quite dramatically when using the spare wheel for a bit of leverage. Seeing as it's a rated tow bar as well I was very surprised with the amount of movement. All bolts checked and tight so not too happy.

A mate of mine has a Kaymar spare wheel carrier and towbar on his Challenger, he broke the towbar going a cross the Anne Beadell a couple of years ago!

                Cheers Andrew

Is it illegal to drive around without the rear bumper? I've got some stick on reflectors I can stick onto the cross member once the bumper is removed.

I'd think it should be fine.

It's not like the front which is an impact zone to 'protect' pedestrians.

Found a link for this mod performed on a Jeep
The finished product looks quite neat, fits with the lines of the vehicle nicely.
The Prado rear end would pose some challenges marrying a bar to the rounded section behind the rear wheel/ mud flap.

I am trying to attach it to this post Boss.
Basically the Guy took an 80 series ARB Bullbar and modified it to neatly fit the Jeep rear end

                              The finished product.
