Roo Systems chip and exhaust

    Have had a very good run with the chipit chip, just make sure all of the leads are zip tied up out of the way.

    Burnt one lead out and it threw up codes every where. Disconnected the chip & put the blanking plug in, cleared the codes with the Scanguage and when the burnt lead was repaired by a mate, it & the chip went straight back on.

    Has not missed a beat in almost 25000 km. Never a single light or code except the above, which was my fault, not the chips.

        Hey Bushbasher, since REV had double diff locks, exhaust and chip, I would ask why he was comprehensively done by the 120's and the 90 on the dune. Forget to let the tyres down? Did not want to drive it like it was stolen? Scared of heights?

            If you want to spend all you're time at chip it with the engine light coming on go for it, I have had the stienbuer chip for ages with no dramas.

              some one please help,
              roo systems say that there exhaust have a 2.5inch dump and 3 inch for the rest
              it would be great if someone with a roo systems exhaust please that would be great.

                Hey Dawson, I have had a roo systems chip & 3" exhaust on my 120 for almost 2 years with no dramas. exhaust is made by genie & has survived 2 cape trips with no rattles. Only part that is 2.5 inch is above diff where it go's between the chassis & the body. Power is excellent & fuel economy is about 1.5 litres / 100 better for normal driving & 2-3 litres better towing 1500 kg camper. Cheers womble
