ive never seen many pictures of the creb posted so here's a few of our recent trip . culprits : joey , prado 1987 , kav . combatants aka . stuart , andreas , jena , callum ,carlos ,lions den hotel .oh yeah alcohol

here's a tip , if you camp at the lions den , when you go to the pub , TAKE A TORCH if you camp near the river . we could not find our campsite for love nor money in the darkness until we seconded a camper from elsewhere . we drove the creb approx 3-4 days after it was opened ,it was still wet in patches and would be extremely treacherous if wet ,but it wouldn't be open . i drove it with dueller 694 ats in a standard grande with lift button and to be honest and im sorry if i sound like a wanker , but with traction control it realistically wasn't a challenge . someone will say yeah but if it was wet ,blah blah .but if its wet it will be closed. apparently somebody rolled a vehicle while we were there , for the life of me i could not see why, and there are bypass tracks for the worst hill . i had a fantastic time with some fellow ppers on the track and at the booza . id like to thank joey , andreas ,jena ,and callum for making this such a memorable trip and showing me through the black mountain rd and the creb track and the LIONS DEN . i won't forget it no matter how many beers . these last 3 photos are not supposed to be here , they go elsewhere but any way , frenchmans track exit e-w , nolans brook ground floor - basement, crystal clear brook - swamp via 180kilowattsAttached FilesLast edited by kav; 12-08-2011, 11:23 PM.03 grande v6 , with added stuff that makes it go places . we went from trinity beach 7.30 am via black mtn rd to daintree then the creb through to the lions den by about 4.30 i think . i think it took about 4-5 hrs for the creb - lions den . we were travelling not slowly though .03 grande v6 , with added stuff that makes it go places . RTFM people !
