  • Toggle/rocker switches

At the moment, I am about to fit a set of IPF Driving Lights to my 2010 GXL Prado. I want to wire my Driving Light through a seperate switch positioned on the dash so that they will only be activated whilst this switch is turned 'on' with the car's highbeam is ön". Can anyone give me advice as to where I can puchase a 'Toggle/Rocker' switch that will fit in one of the spare locations on the dash. I haven't checked yet, but is my only alternative, contact Toyota for a genuine Toyota switch (that's if they make them)........ How to run the wiring is not a problem, but, just where to purchase a 'Toggle/Rocker Switch'.

    Thank's.

You can get the ARB style Carling switches from these guys. Postage is pretty good (I got 6 switches, a 6 switch panel and a sheet of the switch labels posted for 10 pound)

Factory fitting Toyota light switch kit.
                NPT-LS-15

                and

Hmm, personal taste I guess. I am contemplating changing all my original switches to the ARB type.

There's no reason you can't use those switches... Just stick a little label on them so you know what they are. Still neater than arb switches

Beware of some of the dash switches that are about at the moment...The internals of the switches have some very sloppy soldering...I got a pair from a certain supplier and the monent that the power is connected the backlighting comes on ....even tried it with just hooking the red wire to the battery and the black to earth and Bingo the light is on !!! The model number of some of the "effected switches is NT-P-2015..."apparently" there was a "Bad Batch" from China...
