Beware !! The switches that they provided to me were not NPT-15-LS ... They were NT-P-2015's..externally look the same but internally different...very different so make sure you have the correcr wiring connections....

How'd you find the fit of the switches, Chalkie?

Mine don't fit, the face of the switch is too large which means it gets stuck every time it is turned on and takes a very long time to get un-stuck.

I've placed the switches above the headlight adjuster and they fit ok there (on the outer 2 slots, sticks on the inner one)I've also got 1 beside the second start selector, and 2 in the consul beside the cigarette lighter plug..I've used them for Driving lights,Compressor,Aux Battery connect (redarc model)and power (via relay)for the trailer brakes.
What I have found is different "suppliers" eg Sidewinder use the cheapest switch available..Newpro Tech is a bit better but the best is actually Toyota ..and the prices are accordingly..The internals of the switches are also slightly different with cheating by different soldering to the terminals.that is background lighting, activation selected being different with the different suppliers.

          Hi Guys,

So just to make sure I have got this straight - the only option for direct fit switches for the 150 is either Newpro-Tech or ABR Sidewinder switches?

The ARB / Carling / Narva range all require filing of switch spot opening?

          Cheers
          Kevin

Yep, pretty much. There are some pics HERE showing the Carling rockers fitted in a 150, but to get them in and working some SERIOUS butchering of the switch panel is required. I wasn't too worried as the replacement part is pretty cheap, even though I can't see why I would ever need to pull them out

FYI 150 owners, I received an email from Newpro-Tech that they have a couple more switches on their way shortly (around the 20th), the range will be:
LED LIGHT (picture of LED Bar)
SPOT LIGHTS (standard 2x forward facing lights)
                REAR LIGHTS (opposite of spots)
Blank guessing it is like mjrandoms switch.

In the meantime, I picked up a Narva 63026BL (based on someone elses advise) to see how it goes. Until I get the other goodies sorted (AUX battery, rear lights) I can put up with that.

I've used AOB switches and very happy. I used the arb style and cut my plastics to fit as per page 9 of my build here

                      http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...er-build/page7

If they were going on my dash I would have used the direct replacement switches however wanted these to match my air lockers.

Guys a word of warning with some of these switches..i have recently had a few that didn't fit properly and get jammed when pushed in.

The problem is the switch heads have been moulded poorly meaning the are not centrally located on the switch body. This results in the switch getting fouled as you press it in and can cause great embarrassment when you cant turn your LEDs off....

They are a great idea but i think they need a bit more refinement....or quality control...

why no green text? i thought the whole idea of factory switches is so that your dash looks factory...not like a multi coloured xmas tree

I have to agree here, I have fitted mine, all went in ok, look great, however my spotlight switch is fowling, not too sure how to pull the centre part of the console out to pop the switch out (one with the hi lo selector). the battery isolator switch is working well and showing no signs of catching.

get a thin bit of plastic like those loyalty card keyrings they give you nowadays and slide it in along the fouled edge, then pull it out gently and it should do the trick...learnt that pulled over on the western highway at 10pm with my LEDs on full bore
