4wd dash light not working

Any ideas on how to fix this...4wd engages but no indication on dash.
drove 30kms on the bitumen in HL then pulled into a wineries gravel carpark...churned it up a bit then realised i was still in HL....oops

Is it just a globe or a sensor?, I had the gear box fluid replaced last month..not sure if theres a connection??

I'd bet the switch in the transfer case - mine has been replaced twice.

I had it happen to mine also, it was dirty connenctions on the transfer case, a quick mention at the next service, had the light back working again

Can someone point out where this switch is please. I have intermittent problem and think it may be the switch. Photo would be nice
