Just ordered this dual battery setup. Seems a decent price to me plus you get some other extras as well.

A $640 steel winch bar (ARB copy) is a bargain, as long as the quality is OK:
                        http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-TOYOT...item4cf8cf8c72

I know it's already discussed here:
                        http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...bar-%28Ebay%29
However, I rekon it also qualifies for this thread as an eBay bargain.

Shame it is sooo big (width is too wide for the Prado).
                          $500 buy it now.

I thought the same when I was living in Roxby Downs last year. It really disappointed me that I could get lights made 600km down the road cheaper from a place that was in the states than I could in my own country. The mind boggles when you hear about retailers sales figures and the plans the govt had to introduce taxes for goods purchased overseas on auction sights like ebay. I guess it just goes to show how much of a chunk they take in taxes and god knows what else. Kinda makes me sick actually.

I have had the same issues. I bought an exhaust for my motorbike cheaper from the states then from the Australian distributor in Sydney. It was also delivered quicker than an order I placed the same day from Melbourne.

It's bloody annoying and most of the time the service you get in Australia is also pretty lacking.

I got a price on an ARB bar through ARB, then rang an ARB stockiest and they wanted almost an extra $300 for the bar AND an extra $400 for the winch.

I would love to only buy Australian products from Australian suppliers, but until they get real with their service and prices then they will continue to miss out.
