Thanks Dennis. Im off to Cape York in just over a year, so Ive got to get cracking. Bought a bullbar, its off getting colour coded. Should have it fitted, with lights, winch and UHF within the next month or so. Then its lift kit, Ill leave the tyres till last and get the use out of the Grand Craps. Dual battery went in this week, I ll fit a fridge slide for the Waeco this weekend. Undecided about drawers this time. I have Outback Drawers in the shed off my old 120 Series. Dont know whether to modify them or just not worry about them. Anyhow, Ill keep members up to date with pics as Project 150 takes shape. Hope the Mrs doesnt subscribe to this forum!

Nearly identical to the ARB bar,but heaps cheaper I bet. We are planning to go this year to the Cape, and unfortunately for some reason or another all our friends have dropped by the wayside. So, I guess we might be going next year also.

Hi Dennis, the bar was under a $1000, and is pretty similar to the ARB equivalent. Same thing happened to us with The Cape Trip last year and again this year. We have set the dates in concrete for June next year and Im going this time even if its by myself. Only problem is I have so much to do to the Prado and only so much time and money. It took 4 years to finish the 120 series, and then I sold it!

My wife still wants to go, and the Prado is ready (bank account suitably drained). Other mates are going to the top end Darwin/Kakadu which is also tempting for me.

You only live once mate. If you dont go with them, it will best trip you never went on. I should have the Prado finished by next June, but will probably have to push it to the Top, my bank account will be well and truely empty.

Picked it up on Ebay, brand new. In saying that, Ive spent another few hundred getting it colour coded and fitted. Stll worked out way cheaper than ARB or TJM, even with getting it sparayed silver.

Hi Mate, he is no longer selling on ebay, I tracked him down though and phoned him today. He can still source an Ironman Deluxe Commercial bar, but he is now selling them for $1050 plus freight(I think this is still cheap?). Not sure if Im allowed to print ph numbers or email addresses on this forum?(forum rules???)
