Thanks. Saw one on a Prado at a recent 4x4 show in Melbourne, but the ARB staff knew absolutely nothing about it - not even the price. Looks quite substantial and yes, it does fit with an ARB Deluxe winch bar attached (not sure if the underbody protection needs any mod's though).
Prado_The_2nd now on my Third Prado (and 2 Landcruisers before that!)
2012 Altitude, Petrol
ARB Deluxe Bar, Towbar, Driving Lights and bits and pieces of other tech.
They are $249 each, plus 1 hr fitting if fitted while an arb bulbar is being fitted, otherwise they take your existing bar off and refit with the recovery point (3 hrs fitting all up).
I have the brochure with the prices, etc. just not sure how to load it here.
the pdf is too large to load, but contact ARB and they'll send through the brochure with the fitting details, etc if anyone is interested.
Wow, wonder how they justify the extra cost over the road safe ones? And how they can justify an extra hour to fit them when doing the bullbar, I know they can be a pain (at least the road safe ones anyway) but they have to put those bolts in anyway for the bullbar, and extra 15 mins maybe, but really, for that price they should just throw fitting in with the bullbar.

TJM Bullbar, Lightforce Genisis Spots, Dual Battery System with bits from everyone, Powerful 4x4 slider/steps, Kaymar rear bar, "Genuine" Roof Racks, MSA Seatcovers, Dashmat, Tint, LED Interior Globes, Bridgestone D697s [/LEFT]
Hmmm, normally the points ive seen are flush to the chassis, where these seem to extend out for some reason? Im no engineer but wouldn't this put more stress on the bolts than if it were more flush?

Hi all,
Rang three local ARB stores here in Sydney today.
Store 1 did not have them on their system...?
Store 2 quoted $249.00 each...!
Store 3 quoted $189.00...?
Neither store had them in stock as they were on back order for 6 weeks.
Heading out to another non ARB store this afternoon who says they have them in stock for $150 for the pair...
Yes I agree Gogetter, like holding 40kg at your chest or trying to extend your arms out and hold it. I'm still undecided about all this with recovery points. It's a continual agree/disagree type thing amongst us all. I haven't seen them on a 150 but on the 120 I can't see the after market recovery point being any better then the factory loops. Where your suppose to mount them on the 120's you can't even tighten them right up or you crush the chassis rail together ?? Might be different for the likes of AJ who has made his own ones and has a different mounting but this is not offered by any other manufacturer of recovery points for the 120. With certain brands your just paying for the logo in my opinion. ..... Cheers Steve
Is he selling them yet Blake ?? So far I have got away with the tie downs in regards to rules and regulations with clubs n things except here on PP. If I want to do say GTG I would be required to have the after market ones to comply with the rules.... I would rather pay AMTS then some of the we'll known after market joints.... I have one of his plates from the bullbar to radiator so I know he makes quality stuff..... And when it comes to being rated none of them are that I know of, well none that are willing to give you any documentation or a signature....Cheers Steve
