Gee, that looks the goods.. Wonder how the CV's go at that height? But I'm guessing that's what the diff drop kit looks after.
I'd be interested to see photos from underneath....
D4D Prado GXL - 2014. 2" OME lift, ARB Deluxe Winch bar, ARB under body protection plates, ARB EZ Deflator, Weaco fridge, Matsen fridge on slide, BFG A/T's, ARB CKMA12 compressor, Oztrail side awning with LED lights PLUS canvas extension, Lightforce XGT's.. Oricom UHF380, GME AE4017
Hell yeah this on my radar for sure mate. If the cvs are ok it might be worth it over importing a rough country kit from the us. Would love to get the red devil that hi off the ground
I spoke to Superior Engineering and they said that 4 inches on the front strut is probably a bit too much for the CV angles, even with a diff drop. Apparently between 3 and 3 1/2 inches is about the limit and you may also need new upper control arms and bumpstops.
As far as the SRC front strut itself is concerned, it's an awsome piece of kit. The total travel is 210mm and I estimate that at 2 inches of lift, there is about 140mm droop and 70mm compression available at the strut! This is way in excess of what the standard suspension design will allow. There is also 80mm of height adjustment available on the strut so you can dial in exactly how much lift you need. They are fully adjustable and rebuildable. Check them out here:
