  • ARB Diff Locks Fitted Prices

Getting a set of ARB Diff Locks fitted next week was quoted $3500.00 for front and rear air locks fitted. Its seems dearer than last time I had them quoted Im sure they were only $3200.00 last time quoted.
Has any one had them fitted latley? Do you know the current price?

When I priced them last I thought around $1800 ea. Went for a test in a 100 series with them fitted, realistically should be the first accessory fitted? amazing difference.

I have 3 prices, the lowest being $2100 , thats for a rear only with upgraded compressor and air up kit. I reckon they quoted $1750 before i asked for the air up ability.

I paid $3700 for front and rear fitted. Another $540 for compressor (mounted under bonnet) and air up kit.

            Bloody freight costs I guess!

              Weird..

Why is it ARB charge around $1300 ish each for a Difflock in Australia yet you can buy them for $930 in the USA ?

              Talk about ripping you off

BiiRO, don't forget about import tax and gst and you also have the shipping costs. Our friendly customs people add the shipping fee when working out how much tax to pay. Let us know if you get a shipping quote. The total price MAY make the venture worthwhile

I qualify by saying this is second hand info, but they only ping you on taxes if the invoice value is $1,000+ so Biiros order would need to be 3 separate orders.

$239 tax is bugger all in the long run compared to 3 (potentially more totaled) shipping charges..but anyway comparing full costs as the worst case example... $2632 vs what about $3200 for the parts alone is a significant saving Im thinking.

I "think" the Goods only will initialy attract 5% duty and then 10% GST on total including shipping (correct me if I'm wrong)
