    Shane,
I have not added any under v ehicle protection. The plates you can see are from the install of the ARB bar. It does come with some light steel protection which in discussion with others I believe is enough for my purposes at this time. Time will tell however I am not in the buch every weekend 4WD so I will see how I go next year up the kimberley and Cape York. I have purchased a set of Diff brethers and am going have a go at install.

Shane - I have the Sahara bar on the VX (KDSS), ARB installed the under vehicle plates (as on Kens vehicle) and they are really strong. It certainly gave me piece of mind in my most recent camping trip when I was testing the approach angles.

Shane - check out this link. I installed the diff breathers from Sams instructions and was easy. Might help?

            Keeper,

Thanks for the info. Being an inexperience 4x4, it is the first time I heard of diff breather.
Looked like a job well worth the time. Thanks!

            Shane.

              Call out to Kakadu Owners...
If someone has the time, could they please take some pics of the bottom Airbag mounts as we have been discussing in this thread Grande Airbag retaining after a Lift . On the 120 the airbag mountings on the Diff have a keyed hole for the airbag seating pin to go in but the seating pin itself is not keyed and we are wondering if the seating pins in the Kaka has been modified to be keyed to match up with the keyhole to retain the airbag if ever over extended.
Any help to shed some light would be appreciated.

Just for the record. I believe the kakadu lift solution is the same as the Grande (120) solution. There are other options but I have the Autocraft solution also. I believe OL change the bags! and others use spacers etc. Just look in the 1`20 Grande threads and you will be able to apply the same solutions to the 150's

Adding my small contribution. Since this is not really a Kakadu model but a Prado 150 European model. It is probably best for Kakadaz to confirm the photos.

Kcharng. Thanks mate!!!! that is quite different to the 120 hey? So Mr Toyota has clearly secured the bags by bolting them in. Once again a picture is worth a thousand words.

Guest4WD upgraded my suspension for the Kakadu without any problems. They also made sure that the lean was fixed. Very happy with the result - 35mm lift, I think is what they said.

                              Pwop,
Could you elaborate a little more please. What upgrade did you have fitted? Did the vehicle have a lean before the lift or did Guest4WD just ensure there was none after the installation? I still have my lean that comes and goes. Do you know what they did to ensure there was no lean? If you have time I would love to know the measurements from the bottom of the rim to the bottom of the guard on each wheel. When level mine are: rear 890mm and front 820mm.

I fitted Koni shocks and King springs (only front of course for the springs). I also fitted a ARB bullbar. I was never really aware of a lean before but Guest said they checked and fixed it - I don't know how. I will try and do the measurements the weekend and let you know.
