Thanks wooley the tent is a dingo doza its all canvas one of the simplest ones i found easy to set up and plenty of space

thats excellent.
how does that work with the prados weight limit on the roof?
i'd really like a tent, but everyone keeps saying that you cant load more than 100kg on it?

Think the the tent was only 50kg with all the bedding in there aswell so should be well under the limit

Wooley, I believe the state weight is for maximum driving weight to avoid rollovers incase of sudden maneuvers. Sorry to hijack your build thread.

Hey mate i was just wondering why you need 2 spares.....your running with GOODYEAR MT/R's lol you dont need to run with spares!!!!

Hi mudguts thanks mate got the mtr's and two spares coz have been stuck in the middle of nowere with two stuffed tyres before its not to much fun so thought id be prepared this time haha

Have done a few trips down south pemberton to Augusta on and off the beach and done most of the coast from two rocks to shark bay on different trips hoping to do a run to Darwin some time next year and if that goes well plan one over east

Picked up and fitted my brown Davies bash plates today all went together easy a good fit looks like they'll stop me smashing the high/low actuator off the back of the transfer case again
