Got my Airaid delivered yesterday.
Bought off eBay for $170 delivered to AUS.
Here's the link to the product on the Airaid site: http://www.airaid.com/ProductDetail.asp ... ID=510-934
Took maybe 15 minutes to install (including taking photos).
Fit is not 100%, possibly because the Tacoma and 4runner have a slightly different engine bay setout, but I'd say it fits 98% properly, the "2%" being cosmetic really, as it's just a matter of the throttle body side tube connecting on a slight angle. Have tested with soapy water and no air leaks.
In the box, comes with all necessary fittings, instructions and even a few stickers.
The engine bay with standard intake:
Stock intake removed (requires only phillips head screwdriver) sitting next to Airaid. All those "boxes" hanging off the side of the standard one are silencers and hence utterly useless
Airaid fitted together and next to all required tools; Phillips head and flat head screwdrivers and a 14mm spanner (adjustable wrench will also work)
Airaid installed
And a close up for good luck
Results: Only had it on for one day, but drove about 90km today so get an idea of the difference it's made. Similar to the Unifilter I installed, it's slightly improved power (maybe a kW or 2) and increased throttle response and smoothed out acceleration.
Will respond with fuel economy changes in a couple of weeks when I've gone through a couple of tanks.
