I rang three companies today enquiring about the availability of a long range fuel tank for the 150 series. Long Range Automotive now have one available - it is a 135 litre replacement for the 63 litre rear tank. The other two companies both said they are planning on making one but have not done so yet.

Edit: looking at their website, there's only one listed for the 150 SWB:

Re: Long range tank now available for 150 series
Glad to see that there's hope out there for if and when I update.
Stepping backwards in the fuel department was always going to be a bit of a worry for me.
But at over 200ltrs,.......that's a ripper.

Same colour, Coopers, Kaymar bar.... yep I'd say it's theirs...
An extended fuel tank would sure help lugging all that extra load.William

Re: Long range tank now available for 150 series
How does the Long Range tank go with the fuel gauge and trip computer? Can they reprogram the computer so the range (distance to empty etc) works with the added fuel? It looks good and I am thinking of getting one.
Have you filled it up from close to empty? I would like to know what the real "usable" capacity is. As we all have seen that the 150lt original tank only gives us 130lt before the guage reads 0km to go.Stephen Bloomer
I did have - 2010 GXL D4D Auto, ARB bullbar, rails, sliders, winch, 40mm lift, Brown Davis bash plates and long range tank

Okay the answer is NO, they haven't as yet.
If any of the Perth 150 owners wouldn't mind being without their vehicle for a couple of days for R&D, then I can arrange to have one fabricated for them at a VERY respectible price!
Outback are also after a 150 for XROX R&D, rock sliders and side steps...
PM me for contact details. You will need to talk to them about prices though.
