Hi Andrew - got any piccies? I've got a LED festoon for the cabin but it is a bit lacking... looking for something brighter.

It can be a bit hard to take pictures but will give it a go. Might be easier if I popped into your work one evening.

Ordered a kit from theledlad yesterday and he's thrown in a panel for the cargo light at no extra charge. Worth asking the question if you have trouble finding cold beers at the bottom of the fridge like I do

Wish I had known about the extra led panel for the back before I ordered the kit! No great loss! I received my extra panel today! It's not dark yet but I'm sure it's going to be great!
He also threw in an extra two bulbs for the vanity mirror lights! I had forgotten all about those suckers! I'm fill converted to led now!

Just upgraded to the LED kit from the LED Lad on ebay.
2 minor problems: Can't figure out how to remove the bulbs from the map lights? In post #7 of this thread, he says "push in and turn". Not working for me.
And the double sided 3M tape for the LED pad didn't work. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't remove the plastic sheet to reveal the sticky stuff. (Old 3M tape?)

Anyway here are the before and after says it all. No trick photography:

Kimbo, if you look closely it's in the first photo as well (albeit more full!)

But if anyone can give me some tips on how to remove the map lamps, it'd be appreciated. That yellow light is all of a sudden giving me the sh!ts.

                            Hi SimpleSi,

A small screwdriver to lever down the front of the clear map light cover and it pulls straight out.

The bulbs are a T10 wedge and will just pull out.

Those light covers pop off at the hinge. Its alot easier than you think it might be. It wont break or snap, get a screw driver in under the hinge, pops off fairly easily.

I dont know the bulb size but its the same bulb in the door lights and the map lights. for that light cover you get a screw driver in from the right side. The left side the clip is too big to be levering out, the right side has the small plastic clip to lever out. I must say it was more firmly in place than any of the other light covers I had to lever out.
