I've had my 2003 4.0 v6 4 speed auto for about 2 months now, and have filled up the tanks 3 times- the first with 91 fuel 10% ethanol, the next 2 times with 95 vortex. My figures are consistently 16.3 - 16.8 liters per 100 km. The car is stock standard- except fitted with a Toyota alloy bull bar. No roof racks, 42psi grandtreks. No towing. Full Toyota service history every 10000 and I just did the last service. Everyone else seems to get much better economy? My wife and I know hoe to drive conservatively, but to no avail. I should add that all those kilometers are city k's. Just wondering if anyOne has any suggestions for us? Not that I mind using the fuel, I love this car and it's power, but would prefer to get more distance between fills.
Thanks! Joel.
