I've got my hands on a set of 5 x Cooper zeon ltz. 285/60/18 for my 150 Vx. Swapping my 265/65/18s BFGs. The BFGs have been really good and I have no complaints about them. I have had a few sets of them on different cars but thought I would try out something different. The coopers are pretty well the same diameter but 20mm wider which should look awesome Imo. I will be getting them fitted early next week. Will post pics once they are on! Oh! They will be getting fitted to my aftermarket 8.5" rims with +15 offset.

The rims are an 18 x 8.5 with a +15mm offset. They are Koya Xj6. The 285/60/18s are a perfect fit and fill the guards like they should. The smooth part of the sidewall bulges just beyond the gaurd. I am sure they would be within the govs regulations of no part of the tyre being outside the gaurd. I have a 2" lift FYI. Here is another pic that might help a little. I will get a good side shot when the Missus gets home. .Last edited by Brendos 150; 27-11-2015, 03:12 AM.

Looks like the FJ rims are winning so far.
Is anyone running the Dick Cepek Fun Country II in a 265/70/17" size? Price seems to be on-par with BFGs but looks a bit more like a muddy. Just curious how they handle the black top as well as off-road.
I see there is also the Dick Cepek Fun Country, a bit of Googling suggests these are the newer of the 2 models but I'm not sure.

Raptors in 18in look the goods. Put the D697s on in the same size as original to keep the rolling diameter the same. Handles well so far and will be towing the camper on Straddie so can check the sand performance. Also have 5 Kakadu rims for sale now that I'll put in the for sale section!2014 Kakadu D4D Crystal Pearl, dual battery, redarc DCDC charger, redarc towpro, CSA Raptors with D697 265/60/18' safari snorkel, more to come!

Had Coopers 265/60/R18 AT3 on my Kakadu which lasted about 45K before rocks/gravel became an issue with punctures and even structural damage requiring replacement - not impressed!. Have now fitted Hankook Dynapro ATM's at 1/2 the cost of BFG's which are quiet and appear to be OK although it is too early to tell. Cooper tires did occasionally activate Traction Control System way too early! Haven't had this issue with the Hankooks yet!
Previously had BFG's on my Pajero, which were very good but at over $500 a pop for the Kakadu and with a road noise level of a truck, i thought I give the Hankooks a go.
