I have the same vehicle with 122,000 on it - bought at 110,000. It used to do this to me on occasions until I cleaned the MAF using special cleaner obtained from REPCO. Hasn't happened since.

Whitey, my Nov-2007 D4D had the same symptoms. I bought the car used at 160,000km and immediately replaced all four injectors, seats, seals etc so impossible to say if new injectors made any difference. Freo Fuel Injectors in Perth reported seeing one other D4D Prado that intermittently stalled on a warm engine - they apparently spent considerable time searching for the problem through process of elimination (sorry, I didn't write down what they'd looked at) but in the end replaced the fuel pump which fixed the problem. I decided to get the fuel pump replaced in the first instance and likewise have not experienced any further stalling over 5000km travelled. I also had an extra fuel filter installed under the bonnet when the injectors were swapped.

        I hope this info helps!

Further to stalling , it I turns out to be leaking injectors sheets. After changing all four, it is back to normal. I strong recommend to look on this aspect when D4D stalls under load.

Wasim if your injector sheets were leaking then I would suggest dropping the sump and cleaning the oil pick up screen, at least drop the oil and inspect it. When the sheets leak they cook the engine oil near the leak which goes gluey and will eventually fall back into the sump. When it get sucked onto the screen these lumps cannot pass and build up and can starve the engine of oil.

Check this link to learn more about what MJRandom is talking about. Quite a serious issue for this car...
