My brother in law broke the indicator lens only in the mirror and it is available a spare part, are you sitting down.......$220.00! The Toyota feeeling only lasts as long as you dont break something.
See ya on the tracks, Richo.

Rob, try Gold Coast Wreckers first. They may have one as they have the most wrecked Prados in the country, up there anyway. http://www.4x4part.com.au/

The 150 must be a few cm wider than the 120 as I have to be much more careful backing the latest model out of my shed. Otherwise the mirrors are further from the front of the car?
My garage done the same thing and jumped at my drivers mirror causing the same thing. We removed mirror off the door after removing the door trim took the mirror around to the boot area and removed the glass which was quiet easy to do( mind you I was using a mechanic relative to do this but it was straight forward!) He then backed the small connector containing the light blue and light green wires out of the large connectors and clipped everything up and reassembled all up a half hour job. Now I have a mirror body in a fixed position that can be folded back inwards if needed manually and still have full functioning indicator and glass adjustment function
Rang Toyota, $195 for a new indicator, $995 for a new mirror assembly (not colour coded).
Rang Carmirror.com.au, they can replace the indicator for $229 (they come to you).
GRRRRRRRRR
Rang Toyota, $195 for a new indicator, $995 for a new mirror assembly (not colour coded).
Have you checked on eBay? I was able to replace the entire rear tail light assembly that somebody decided to smash on me for ~$120, Toyota wanted $750 just for the part. Also try Amayama, if you can identify the correct part number they can usually source it for you for a lot less than the local stealership.
So I just did the same thing as the original poster.... Cracked plastic housing and indicator! Looking online at the moment, and all replacement parts only seem to come in black and with an electric motor? Anyone have any luck with finding it colour coded (or is this just something you have to organise yourself to be done after delivery)? Cheers, Pikey
