Access to 12v socket in Centre Console

Guys......

I'm after some info on how I can gain access to the wires for the 12v socket in the centre console. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated :wink:

All I did was open the lid to the main box to make sure there was room to move, then I put my finger through to top of the handbrake hole and lifted with a bit of force and the centre console lifted up.

Not sure I know what u mean by this..... Why do u need to lift the lid up? Is there any screws that need to be removed ?

I gather u pushed against the main section that is all one piece that also goes around to the front on the A/T Lever ?? Don't suppose u have any pics :wink:

I tried this on the weekend and had a sad outcome. The surround where the cig lighter has clips in some parts but is also screwed up from underneat, so putting pressure on snapped a couple of spots. fortunately theyre not seen. A panel beater suggested accessing the cig lighter power at the second row. The large panel that covers the rear of the console (facing the middle row of seats, has a clip in each corner. put your front seats forward and you can get your finger nails under the corner and it lifts off. Easy access to the 2nd row seat power point.

I agree, access the second row socket - A lot easier - the large panel unclips and you have great access.
Trying to access the centre console socket, I was caught out by the clips underneath also, which snapped - I am now in the market for a new power socket / bezel for the centre console - any ideas - Google not coming up with suitable replacements (which looks like original).
