Hey all - I just purchased one from Nudawading Toyota in Melbourne and being shipped from Sydney for $225.

Has anyone upgraded the from suspension to support the added weight of the winch - I have the Grande with the airbag suspension. I may have to put different springs in the front. Same for VX and Kakadu owners as well I think. Any help appreciated.

Well I'm going through the same issue at the moment. I've upgraded my suspension with a 2" lift but will be swapping front springs for something firmer as the bracket+winch weigh around 60kg

Im Upgrading wednesday to OME 2" heavy duty sports shock as after i replaced my sovereign bar with the arb dulux steel winch one i had 75mm between top height of Tyre and guards. I'll post a pic of both when done


BTW Marc- I called Pennant hills Toyota today and ther is stock of this cradle in sydney. PZQ29602WC

Is interesting. My local Toyota today wasn't keen to sell me the part. They said that they got in trouble last time as Toyota don't make money off this part. I have to call the service department during the week to see how they can help. Are the bars easy to take off and refit? It will be my first time trying.

i had my Winch fitted at 6am the day i left for the snowys last year and it only took around the entire hour because i didn't want to cut the cb Arial Cable other than that with the right tools AND HELP you could have it done in an hour or 2 max id say

Thanks mate. That might be all the confidence I need. I also ordered a winch cradle today for $200 rounded down. Different salesman, different outcome.
