Bought this from the company director back in July (tax time,, handy)

Details:
2004 Toyota Prado GXL.

4.0l v6, 5 sp auto.
Toyota sovereign Bull bar, with Hella 4000 compact spotties.
Toyota factory reece hitch, dark tint,
Roof mounted DVD player with wireless headphones
6 stacker MP3 cd player (factory)
Sony Bluetooth system.

Plans for the prado

This weekend = new shoes.
then: * replace front brakes
* lift kit (something similar to DoubleD69's)
* extractors
* UHF
* Reverse camera
* Snorkel
* Eaton E-Lockers
* Dual batteries
* Better spotlights / steel bullar.

Not necessarily in that order either.

congratulations, looks good and the mods sound even better. Very keen to hear how the Eaton Lockers go, make sure you keep us posted. Oh, welcome to the forum and keep the photos coming.

Yesterday fitted 5 new tyres.
265-70-17 maxis bighorns..
And today fitted the rated front recovery points.
Was going to change the front brake rotors, but they look harder than i initially suspected.

Haven't gotten new photos to prove it yet,
but updates:
Fitted fire extinguisher, maglight bracket,
Removed: roof racks. (left the stubs there so I can refit)
Also, just before the new tyres I fitted the spare wheel spacer.
And recieved the PP stickers yesterday, so they will go on shortly.

and the reason I am keeping an eye out for a new bumper, or maybe upgrade to a steel one. But I don't want twin wheel carriers.
I gave a bit of thought to the twin carrier idea, but having to unlatch them every time to open the rear door is too much hassle.

Ouch
U could get the after market doors and leave the swing arms off
The only problem they are expensive

I have found one, that looks ok, but they won't take the arms off, so It will be left with the stubbs on it.
Still a matter of saving up for these things, and then buying them before something else gets the money priority.

mudboy: brand new.

Fitted new PBR rotors today and bendix 4WD titanium pads (or whatever they were) Its nice having the extra firmness in the pedal now, and no more pulsing in the pedal.

and the reason I am keeping an eye out for a new bumper,

there is an easy way you can fix your rear bumper ,
1- simply remove the bumper from the car.
2- put boiled hot water in the damaged area.
3- the bended area should take the original shape.
4-you might need to use arubber hammer to help with the water.

i haven't tried the above before, but i've seen it works at the body repair shops here in Egypt.
hope that would help you , as i ve' seen you want white bumper in the wanted section.

Ended up getting the bumper repaired by a guy in Midland. Good price, easy to deal with.

Since then, I have accumulated a few parts, just sitting in the shed.
They will all be fitted / dealt with within a week or so.
* Suspension
* Reverse Camera to suit the dig_options stereo I have already fitted.
*Cat back exhaust (extractors won't be far away)
*Dual Battery Solenoid / isolator. Still need the tray. and battery.

Nice, would be nice to here some notes of peeps exhausts fitted on this forum. I would love to know how a D4D sounds with a mandrel fitted.
