just had thought in regards to scanning the template, instead of tracing around the outlines of the template and holes, a dark piece of paper could be placed behind the template when scanning and that should produce a clear image.

I went to office works yesterday and they couldn't scan it. Said it was too big so I just grabbed some cardboard while I was there same thickness and will just trace it onto it..... Cheers Steve

            Hey Steve,

My snorkel has been on few a while now but i took a few photos for a mate who was also fitting a snorkel on a 120

            Here are a few tips.
*Go to Toyota and get some new inner guard clips as they are hard to remove and will more than likely break when being removed.
*Use a good quality 95mm hole saw and a step drill for the smaller holes.
*Make sure you treat/paint any bare metal around your new holes.
*I put tape on the pillar so i could mark right position for the bracket before drilling and also protects paint from scratches. I also put tape over the flare to stop any metal filings getting in between the guard and flare.
*I used a tiny bit of silicone around the plastic A pillar plugs before inserting into hole to stop moisture getting in.

Cheers sjc, I did buy some new clips but will have to search for them. I did buy them over two years ago when I bought the snorkel lol if not they were only a couple of $$ for them anyway.... Thanks for the tips on the tape as well, appreciated.... Cheers Steve

                  No Probs,

Good luck Steve and don't be scared of putting that 95mm hole in your guard that's the easy part.

                  Steve

And don't go straight to 16mm with the step drill. Stop at 10mm and line the snorkel up and see if all the studs line up.
