What is the Econ function for the transmission you mentioned? Are you talking about the green economy light? If so isn't that just a light that comes on when little throttle is used?

That's what I thought as well, maybe he means it's in S mode as the ECO light is also extinguished when S is engaged.

Well just got the car back after the software update and I can tell you the car is a different vehicle to drive. It can be summed up in three points:

No more lugging
No more flatspot
Much more responsive

It downshifts gear in D much more readily (in particular 5 to 4) and holds 4th longer before shifting to 5 at low speed, not much but noticeable. A very positive result and recommended to all 150 owners
