Rogerthat's 150 VX D4D Graphite Prado Build Up.

Well its almost finished - after close to 3 years there is not really much more I want to put on our 150 - now we just have to stat using it more!

Congrats to you Rogerthatv2 - I'm a newbie on PP as well. I pick up my GXL TD next Friday or so the salesman reckons :roll: Can't wait to get it now. I was very close to getting a VX but the missus is a vegetarian and she just cannot do the leather seat thing. Ahh well life is a compromise of all things.
I drove all of the competition and the Prado was simply a class above the rest of them. Priced above the rest of them as well but boy driving one is very enjoyable. My next goal is to rack up the 1000k's, get the first service out of the way and then I'm off - Perth - Coral Bay - Exmouth with Shark Bay thrown in along the way.
Anyway enjoy your purchase! Any idea where one gets a PP sticker?

Thanks sounda, fingers crossed yours will be all to good to go next Friday. We are now 400kms into the first 1000km so it will be at the first service in no time and ready to tow our camper trailer off to Gordon Country.

No idea on the PP sticker, I have been trying to find that myself.

Any idea where one gets a PP sticker?

There is thread in the wanted section on where to get a PP sticker.

Alternatively, you could PM a moderator closest to you and see if they could get you some. I haven't got any left otherwise I would gladly post a sticker to you.

Thanks Wengnuts - how do I locate a moderator close to me? Perth i.e.? Probably a dumb question and I will find the solution 1 min after posting this message - seems to be my way! Generally hate stickers on cars but a PP one will go nicely on the new GXL and I look forward to running (not literally obviously) into other PP owners.

And the delivery date on my GXL TD has now 'slipped' out to the 11th June - Damn it!! Long weekend this weekend in WA and I was soooooo looking forward to walking into the dealer and grabbing the keys and disappearing for 3 days. Dealers - why can't they just stick to their word and deliver when they say they are going to? Kids were all pumped and so was the missus. First car that we've ever bought that she has shown a genuine interest in! Got me beat but I'm not complaining. She is even gobsmacked that I'm thinking of a PP sticker as I normally rave on about stickers on cars.
