Hi all
Well as stated in post # 60 the canvas seat covers arrived today from The Canvas Seat Cover Company.
As the Prado is now my daily work vehicle it was agreed that the seats should get some protection from the array of grime that i come into contact with during the day.
It was suggested by our detail er to Scotch Guard the seat fabric prior to fitting the covers, so this was done on Sunday.
Cover set included front buckets

The fronts seem a little baggy at the moment but previous experience shows that canvas covers will conform to the seat with use.
Easy to fit with velcro fastening under seat bases.

Nice canvas foxclan. Just a quick thought on the location of your fire extinguisher - do you think it would be that accessible if you have things packed into the back?

No drama with accessing the right hand mounted extiguisher Madkore, the fridge slide is also on the drivers side so no cargo gets stuffed in this area.

Hi all
We had the old Husqvarna sewing machine whirring this week.
Added a extension piece to the ARB awning.




Some alloy poles and guy ropes to come to stand it out.

Hi Craig
I sourced the LED strip light from Jaycar and the switch came with the package.
I am sure Derek from ABR Sidewinder could supply these.
Narva or Hella would do similar push in rocker switches also.

Well it was our four year Anniversary this week (19/12/07).
The question is what to get a Prado with not quite everything.
The idea came to me while sourcing a Narva LED map reading light for the left hand B pillar (pictures of this to follow)
Not satisfied with the Narva 50 Watt Halogen rear work light, I ordered one of these as an upgrade.

3 Watt LED 2000 Lumen's, Don't let me down Mr. Narva!
Looking forward to mounting it onto the Rhino Rack Alloy tray over the weekend.

You got the wrong light Troy! You were ment to get the "L.E.D. Sit Down and Drink BEER Lamp" not the "L.E.D. Work Lamp".
You will have to take it back and exchange it!

Well I was lucky enough to win the Lightforce Genesis competion. Unreal - can not hide my excitement.
This was run by Lightforce as a part of their generous sponsorship of the Pradopoint Get Together.
Matty & Loz where kind enough to transport them upto this neck of the woods, thanks guys.

Assembled all the components and formed a plan:

Rhino Rack Alloy Tray Light Brackets fitted:

Tray Back on roof bars:
Power via over loaded terminal:
To 30a fuse:
Earth also connected to battery neg.
Twin flex 6mm automotive cable then run accross the top of the radiator support protected with split tube, terminating at the 40a relay.
Twin flex then run up the A pillar, inside of the rubber windscreen trim moulding:
