Got the Prado from SA for $57200 on road delivered to Darwin with window tint and rear cargo mat.
        They wanted $62000 in Darwin.
Got my IPF900XS today, just waiting on the HID kit to be delivered.
Towed my mates 6.4mtr boat (2t) to Dundee (170Km away) and it handled well and used stuff all fuel. Very happy.
The body deadener worked well on the gravel road - no chipping etc.
Mobile ph antenna worked better than I thought. 2 bars showing on Samsung 411 Next G ph, plugged antenna in and went to full strength.

Seeing I'm not using the fog lights, I'm going to use the switch for my spot lights. Have the workshop CD which has everything on it...

        Still to come in 2009 / 2010:
        1. A third IPF light (2009) and diff/gearbox/T-case breathers Done
        The rest 2010, hopefully
        2. DVD player from Digoptions with Hema maps and two cameras (one looking down on towball and one looking to the back) and two head rest monitors Not yet
        3. 2 inch lift kit with airbags on the back (no coils) Done
        4. Endless air with tank Done
        5. UHF Done
        6. Hand recovery kit Done, got an electric winch
        7. Turbo timer (maybe) Not going to get one
        8. Diff lockers (rear first) Not yet
        9. When the misses lets me take the two rear seats out - Cargo barrier / draws / 60ltr fridge got one of two fridges
        10. Dual battery complete
        11. Roof console

All up its around $10 grand of accessories.

Keep on it buddy, I'll be following the build with anticipation.

I'll be curious to see the install and pics of the Endless Air system with Tank you mentioned.

            Cheers

It all comes down to money. The only other mod I wanted to do was install the third spot light for 2009 but due to Christmas (driving down to Melb), my sons competition BMX bike is being replaced and his year 11 overseas camp (goes towards his International Bachelorette) things will have to be put off until mid 2010 at least…

Well I finally got my tyres. Wanted BFG All-Terrain but stocks are limited. I got Yokohama Geolander A/T-S 275/65/17 for around $1800 for 5. Very happy so far on sealed and gravel roads and sand. Haven't tested them in the mud but no doubt they will be the same as any all-terrain and clog up. I got the spacers from AMTS for the spare wheel. For a larger picture click on the image.

I have also ordered my Endless Air system http://www.endlessair.com.au/ and my airbag suspension http://www.airbagman.com.au/OA.html

Getting the boys from L&S Suspension in Darwin to raise the vehicle 50mm and install the above parts, taking pics along the way. I will do a write-up on that later. In the mean time I will have to look at extending the mud flaps for the new lift.

I have also decided on the following UHF. It's the GME TX 3540 http://www.prestigecom.net.au/index....oducts_id=2654
For the antenna I have chosen two types from ZCG. The first one is for out on the road / bush. Its 2 meters long and I can put a orange flag on top for safety. http://www.zcg.com.au/cb_radio_anten...l_bar_8dbi.htm
The second is for around town. It's 1.2 meters tall http://www.zcg.com.au/cb_radio_anten...l_bar_6dbi.htm
Both whips will be black and interchangeable and I will order in a few weeks.

You will like the Geos matey, I am up to approx 55000 on my set and still got heaps of tread. Have not done much offroad work at all, but on road very good tyre, very quiet.

I like the feel of the Geos. Did 200kms on a gravel road the other day where it was corrugated, bull dust, rocky and sandy with no problems at all at speeds up to 100kms/hr.
They also feel good on the bitumen and there is no noticeable noise increase compared to the GrandTreks.

Completed my dual battery install. Items used are:

                          Optima D27F AGM battery
                          Piranha battery tray
Red Arc battery isolator SBI12 (also came with battery clamps)
200 amp rated over with of vehicle, dual insulated cable (3B&S or 35mm2)
                          Heat shrink
                          Battery lugs with 6mm eyelet
                          Zip ties
I also purchased my own battery lug crimper and cable cutter.

Battery tray came with the following items

First off I installed the battery tray. Location I used was the spot allocated on the drivers side wheel arch.

Remove bolt from earthing point. This bolt will be replaced with a longer one.

Remove cable clip as a bolt will take it's place

Insert bolt and right angle bracket

Bolt in battery tray. Insert all bolts first before tighting as I found the holes don't line up perfectly.

Drill (using a drill bit that just slides through the hole ) two holes that allows you to bolt the battery tray to the wheel arch. Install the bolts. I used the counter sunk bolts that where supplied.

Drill a hole where it mounts next to the head light.

Mount battery isolator. I used one of the radiator bolts and supplied one that I had in the shed. I used a hole saw to drill through the plastic trim. It is advisable to mount the isolator as close as possilble to the starter battery due to voltage drop.

                              Battery installed

I used loc tight that doesn't require heat to remove on all the bolts

I ran the cable along the the bar that is directly under the radiator. It is a shorter run than along the fire wall.

The only thing left is to fit a switch (from custom rockers http://www.customrockers.com.au/epag...Shops/cucu3348 ) for the 'start assist feature'.
