That is some pretty impressive flex you have there Steve! The whole rig is coming together very nicely now, I have to agree with others that White 120's are definately the best
You certainly set a pretty high standard for everyone else to aspire too
Cheers Andrew

i just fitted an ARB Shorty rack (1120) with the kaymar jack and shovel holder. i really got the rack to get my hi lift out of the back and also to carry the extra spare tyre on the longer treks.
sneak peek.
did you attached this to the oem rails or? can u take pics of the attachements area thanks

its pretty much how i wanted it from the start, but we all know the money tree never fruits on time. i've got a few little things left on the list, but not much more planned for now. just gotta look after it a bit better these days. needs a good polish and detail.
the mounting rails are just ARB ones. specific to 120's.

it's set up perfect for what we drive up here, and on the longer 'touring' type drives, i just put the rear sway bar back on. i was looking into getting a slightly thicker aftermarket rear sway bar (whiteline) to combat the effects of the extra height, but i will experiment with the OE one first and see how it handles. i think it might be a bit on the soft side with the rig loaded up. i will definitely post up what i find when the time comes.
cheers

beautifully executed prado man, saw it (was a little bit of a surprise) the other day while dropping a mate off... must have been parked at your work...
anyway, wondering if you could help me with who in darwin would be the procomp wheel dealer/distributor to talk to to get a set of procomp rims at a reasonable price?
my inbox keeps getting jammed with people asking me about a parts listing for my suspension set up, so i put together a list of the basics for people who are keen for a high lift on a 120.
please keep in mind i am not responsible for what you guys do with the below info. i have done this, and it works for me, but may not be everyone's cup of tea.
i have done hours of research as well as trial and error, and i know what the limits of my car are. this is not a simple 'buy the parts and fit' job. a wheel alignment specialists is required to do the alignment with the UCA's, not just bob at the tyre shop.
parts listing!
Dobinson Suspension.
MS59-708 FRONT STRUTS
C59-314 FRONT COILS (middle groove)
SPC 25470 FRONT UCA'S
min. 35mm front diff drop spacers
C59-443V REAR COILS
GS59-682 REAR SHOCKS (with sway bar in)
GS59-687 REAR SHOCKS (with no sway bar)
SUPERIOR REAR LCA'S
you will also need to check your brake lines and ABS lines to make sure they are not too short.
your rear drive shaft may touch the fuel tank guard under full travel.
you may need a rear drive shaft spacer. 10-15mm.
you will need an adjustable panhard rod for the rear.
you will need to mod/space down your front bash plates/under guards.
you may get CV bind at full droop on the front.
you will need to drive slower around corners.
you will need the poly-urethane bushes for the UCA's as the standard ones will not work well with the long travel.
the rear shocks may touch the diff housing and chassis under full rear droop.
i run a 4.5" back space rim or a zero off set rim and i sorta clear 33"s (285's)
and there's prolly some more stuff, but i can't think of them right now.
i will add more info as i think of it, but that should be all for now.
