surely, the old story when the ash tray's full, get a new car...
same argument... when the steering wheel's worn, must justify getting a new car!

Re: Anyone replaced their steering wheel?

I've got the same problem but mine is nearly half the steering wheel worn. Even the raised joins are almost worn flush.
I have looked at the AutoBarn etc aftermarket covers but they only seem to cover the outside and leave a large gap on the inside which is unsightly and uncomfortable.
If I can get a second hand one from a wreckers, how hard is it to fit? Aren't airbags scary things to work with ? Does it have to be a Prado wheel. Would any old Toyota wheel fit ?
Do you have an update McBain ?

                    cheers

Re: Anyone replaced their steering wheel?

Just replaced my imitation lambswool steering wheel cover with a 15" R.M. Williams leather cover for $25.

Bought it at Autobarn on Gold Coast

It was a tight fit but looks good.

The fit looks good there Pedro...! Did they have any without the print...? ;-)

Real leather - for 25 bucks?

                          Deeptank,
Only saw the one with the print , but check out
                          http://www.rmwilliams.com.au/home.as...28149DD4884FD4

I paid $14 for my previous imitation woolskin cover and reckon this one is real good value.

The 15" is the one I bought .
