Right engine mount gone again :!: Found myself falling into the old habit of slipping into N at idle and when stationary, so had it checked at the last service - replacement on order. Worst thing is I have not even been off road for a few months now - maybe be our lousy Adelaide bitumen roads are the problem. Oh well looking forward to a smoother ride when its done.

I have joined the judder brigade.

Interestingly it has been into Toyota this week and they have diagnosed a faulty injector. They are awaiting parts and will hopefully schedule the work next week.

My 08 shuddered in low range from new, being my first 4WD I thought it must be normal for low range.

Back home in Frankston at 54,000 ks after towing a 2,200kg van for 35,000 ks around Oz it started to shudder in high range. The Toyota test drive mechanic new what it was straight away and because it shuddered in drive and reverse he said both mounts needed to be replaced. Now at 57,000 ks and no shudder when stopped in high or low range.

Apart from needing to check the work of the 'Fully Trained' service mechanics it's 'OH WHAT A FEELING' for me.

I've had this intermittently for probably 18 months. Mentioned it at service before & again yesterday at my 40k service at CMI Toyota Adelaide.

I've now been told that they've ordered engine mounts under warranty which should be here in a week or so.

No real explanation of what the problem is & I guess I'll see how it goes once the mounts get changed over.

Hi, I realise this post is old, but I have a 2007 GXL with 170ks that has had this issue for about 50ks not going away, dealer says replacing engine mounts may not fix the issue..... blowed if I know what to do, but sick of the shudder, even though it does go away later in the drive. Any updates on this?

Any updates on this. I'm nearing 200k km and started hearing the same.
