Just some pics of my prado riding on 33s, not sure of suspension lift as previous owner had done it ( he said 4 inches of suspension and 2 inches of body.

Hi folks - here is a pic of my 95 with a Pedders lift (50mm+?) and 265/75/16 coopers. The rims have a neg 25mm off set and yes it rubs! I have to take a bit more off, but having just fitted the winch bar, I reckon its dropped a bit, making the rubbing worse. (full lock and more so in reverse?) So, plan is to fit the HD Pedders Springs to lift it back up again!

The easy way to lift 3" is with spacers or very HD coils - but both of those options will rob you of articulation. The only way to get the best articulation is by using soft coils for 1-2" lift max, and get a bodylift for tyre clearance
It's possible to get 285's in a 2" lift but you'll need to do some guard trimming, and keep rim offsets original (+15) or 0 if you want to make it easier. Going negative offsets looks cool and makes the vehicle more stable, but it increases the rubbing issues.glen_ep - engineered, 4" lift, 33" 255/85R16, lockers, 4.88 ratios www.pradopoint.com.au/showthread.php?17237 www.youtube.com/user/glenep www.fb.com/groups/ToyotaPrado90
