I reckon my ABS is too sensitive and comes on too early and before actual loss of traction. I am suspcious that it is only on one wheel- pehaps front driver but it is a pain because it increases my braking distance.
I also am sick of ABS especially on sand. I know everyone will say yeah yeah on sand the wheels skid easy etc but in non ABS car you iht the picks the front end just buries and you stop quick. Prado just farts out of the ABS and glides gently to a stop - straight into whatever you were trying to avoid. Steering under heavy braking might be a good idea on the highway but its not really an option on flat tyres on sand.
I wish I could turn it off, can I?
If not has anyone else got oversensitive ABS?
