tell ya what ticks me off in a big way...and aftermarket accessory retailers take note!!
I hate it when you go into a 4wd accessory store...usually one with three letters in the title...and have to 'ask' for a price on something...They then faff around before writing a 'number' down on a catalogue for you to take away...why cant they just have a price list? Instead you feel like you are being sized up for how much they can gouge out of you depending on what clothes you are wearing etc...AND why are the numbers different each time? Ive had three different prices on the same product in 2 weeks...from the same bloody store!! WTF.
You know if there was some transparency in the pricing with price lists etc i would be far more inclined to buy and would even probably be more likely to pay full listed fixed price (as i would have budgeted for it and saved and knew what to expect etc) rather than feeling like now ive got to enter into some sort of haggling fest otherwise im being conned....its just completely put me off spending 2.5k upwards on some barwork FFS. Fine ill just wait until a show then and get another price and waste more of OUR time...fools - you coulda had the money today in time for the end of year if you didnt give me the feeling you were trying to rip me off.....

I don't know which of the 2 three lettered stores you are referring to, but after purchasing my 79 Cruiser recently I went into the local ARB outlet and they printed me out a full price list with everything they sell to fit it, including generic items like the compressor. They also informed I would get my normal discount off those prices. Mind you I am on a first name basis with the owners of my local ARB store, and so I should be given the $$ I have spent there over the years.

What ticks me off - people who frequent Pradopoint and then get kicked off for whatever reason, then get on Facebook and slam the heck out of PP and all the 'grey nomads' who kicked them off.
