He quote the part number and price and says he doesn't have one in stock. Says he can get one in or I can go to Northern 4WD in Wangara. I say I'll go to Wangara. Get to Wangara and salesman says he'll have to go to the warehouse. I say no worries I'll swing back tomorrow. Today I go in and he pops the box on the bench. I open the box and the enclosed plastic bag containing a wiring loom extension and fitting instructions. You guessed it, the kit is the one that locates the second battery to the rear left of the engine bay. Totally useless in my case as that area is already full with Racor filter, dual battery solenoid and breather block. I reckon I must have told them both a dozen times, and even showed the guy at Wangara, my set-up clearly with second battery installed at the front right. 3 trips from Oakford to Wangara = 300km.
Its lucky Bushy that you had to leave your 'tools of the trade' at home then..

              • Upgrading to iOS 8 on my iPhone and now losing all connectivity to my Toyota (Kluger) car system. Dealer confirms no fault with system - iOS bug.

Unfortunately, you cannot uninstall the iOS system to the older version. So no phone in car any more. I note that Apple has already issued two updates since its launch... now waiting for another update to this iOS version to fix this fault.

                • I ignore all the apple updates, if it aint broke why fix it? Everything I need to do with the IPhone and Ipad works like a charm so no point in upgrading.

                  Cheers Andrew

There is a way to reinstall iOS 8, let me know if you want the link to do it.

Thanks. I have re-installed the iOS 8 versions (it's currently 8.0.2) - I was wanting to re-install the previous iOS 7 as this one worked just fine. As far as I am aware, there is no way to go backwards once you've upgraded the operating system on iPhone.

There was up until a few days ago... Bugger - luckily I got my wife's 5 back to 7 before the patched it, I am not so lucky, iphone 6 plus but still running on 8.0.0, usually give it a few weeks before upgrading unless it's real bad.

                            • Oil drops to record low - US$77 per barrel. Petrol prices on the way down in Perth. Meanwhile regional areas will have to wait at least four weeks until the fuel in the tanks at gas stations is used up and loads of the lower cost fuel is delivered. I'm not expecting any change.
