Just to clarify, the DRL version I'm working on is a 3-in-one, i.e. DRL, signal and parker all in a single round unit. Hopefully, I can get a look at their PCB prototype with the functionality needed soon.Comment

The manufacturer has made some progress with the new 3-in-1 combo LED DRL/parker/indicator lights. There are 2 missing LEDs on the white ring and I will clarify why that is the case. There's probably mounting screws there, which if it is the case, I will get them to move it to two of the orange ones instead.

hey bit of a dig, sorry. just got a set of these lights and been trying to wire them up. (the ebay ones - cnet). I found some spare female sockets on the headlight looms that have three wire and assumed that these were originally installed for the original lights!??! am i right?
Anyway so i tested them...figures out that the white goes to the black and white on the car (earth) and i tried the other wires until something happened...now ive got the white light to work when the headlights are on (not the sidelights/parkers tho) and the indicators dont work at all...have i plugged them into the wrong part of the loom? Help!Comment

Not sure which connector you are referring to as I haven't checked my Prado yet. But when removing the old lights, I used the 3 wires that came off the back of it.
The white LEDs come on with the parkers and the indicators worked as they should.Comment
