LED park and indicator lights on a Sovereign bullbar

Since you can't wait and I got a leave pass from the missus to head to the shed, I did a quick install and wire up. Tried to take a video but got the wrong tool for the job. This is the best I could do with the camera phone.

The LED parkers are much brighter than the standard parkers. The LED indicators are just a bit dimmer than the standard indicators.
I didn't wire up the original Sovereign bar's parkers or indicators since buying them second hand as I wanted to replace them so I have no basis for comparison. The rubber seal wasn't that great, the metal housing showed minor rusting and the lens was cracked when I overtightened the screw. So it needed a freshen up and these new lights are just right. They go straight on without any modifications.

I'll compare them with voyager4x4 tomorrow.

The parkers might work well as pseudo DRLs being that bright. Will have to see it during daylight.

If the sun is hitting the lights, you can't tell that it is on

Not much interest apart from you I'll have to poke the manufacturer about the DRL version. Bit busy with bashplates at the moment. Still loving the LED lights though. I turn them on all the time now as the parking lights are quite bright.

I'd be keen for a pair as well.

Only thing that troubled me was the fact that they are a sealed unit, meaning that the bulb could never be changed. I suppose it wouldnt matter much though considering the life you get from LEDs

OK, the momentum appears to be building.

As for changing bulbs, I didn't think of having the need to change bulbs as they're LEDs.

I am still keen to get a set, AMTS, I seem to be always removing the cover on my originals and reseating the globes. Last service they changed the globes, but it is only due to water ingress and a little corrosion that they loose connection..
Sealed LED's would be perfect.
