Righto, call me all sorts of names but I happen to have a spare set of Rally 4000's in the shed that I had bought for me so I dont want to part with them. I didn't fit them to the Prado when I bought it because they wouldn't fit straight on and wasn't sure about making brackets. That was before I met you lot.
I had them on the roof rack for a while but there was a couple of things against it. It was too heavy for Tam and I to lift (it also has an awning on it). They went above the level of the rack so they had no protection. And also I felt a little bit funny with them up on the roof ,read - a bit ricer!!
So my question is this. Should I get a couple of brackets welded to the top bar of the bull bar and put them on there or not. I wouldn't have them up there all the time, just for trips and plug the wiring in. I wouldn't go out and buy them to do it but I already have them so you know. Got to do it. Just as long as I dont get barred from this site for doing it!
Let me know your thoughts.
