My family has a bit of a connection with that place. When mum was growing up on a nearby station she had her appendix out in Big Bell hospital. Mind you, they had to get the doctor out of the pub first!Can't we just keep travelling?

I went down the Big Bell decline just before they turned the pumps off and shut the mine. There were dozens of trucks, boggers, utes and other equipment left at the bottom.Dave
