Was doing a little 4wding in WA in a D22. Spotted Jasen heading the wrong way down the Mundaring Powerlines track last Sunday.

Would that D-22 be lifted, silver, X-Rox bar, light bar?

You can, there is a traditional way so saying "wrong way" makes it easy to understand for the locals. No CB yet, he is working on that. He is buying a roof console and I am buying the UHF.......

Yes indeedy, except it was white, but white can look silver in certain light. AJ's 120 looks silver until its placed near my rig, then it just looks inferior.

Spotted a white 120 today on the pacific motorway heading from springwood to southbank. Personalised plates "LAD" with an old pradopoint sticker on the back window. Looked well set up with the usual gear plus a roofpod and an interesting looking awning on the left. I was the big guy on the red motorbike variously in front, behind and beside you trying to get a look at the awning to see what it was. Looked like a custom job, bit bigger than usual. Curious to see what it looks like open.

Mate we spoke last year re the Ostrich wing and I was going to catchup BEFORE you went to the Cape- you might remember (from Coomera)?
I/we also went to the Cape in October last year - amazing experience.
Ended up buying a Supa-wing from Yatala and modified it
Had them put fold up uprights in it and a few other things thus the wing bracket I designed and had made!.
We are off to the Big Red Bash on the edge of the Simpson Desert at the end of June for three weeks!
Getting the old girl all set for that... Just ordered a 3" exhaust and Chip, we are towing a Travelander Geo as a trial trying to sort out whether to buy a off-road Caravan or top camper trailer.What have you been doing it in your Prado lately?

Aah, I didn't make the connection. Glad you got something sorted. I'm still curious to see how you altered the supawing to fit the legs inside. That was one of the downsides of the foxwing/supawing for me was having to store the legs separately. You need to take a few pics and chuck them up on your build thread. I can see how that custom bracket would let you fit in the garage and it makes a bit more sense now what it's for. Nifty solution.

Yes mate, we were going for a drive out to check out Darlington park. Haven't been camping out there for years but keen to get back again soon.

Also spotted Tiny in the 4WD Action Fraser Island top 10 Attractions DVD. His 150 was in the back of shot (noticed the TraxRax first ��then saw him in the background of a few shots at the pub!

And yes I was there. Haven't seen the dvd yet but I expected I might be in a shot or two. Left before they did the big group bit though. Seemed like genuinely nice guys. I'll have to pick up a copy.
