      Front measures:
      Left = 735mm
      Right = 735mm

      Rear measures:
      Left = 776mm
      Right = 776mm

      Pretty even hey? I checked it three times to make sure I wasn't seeing things.....

      Going shopping today for a new suspension package with a bit of lift but we would like to maintain the drivability that it already has as it rides pretty sweet!

      Already had a price of $1325 fitted for the Blue Max suspension kit which apparently is just King Springs and Cofap shocks? Comes with 3 year warranty.

      I'm inclined to go with the OME as this seems to be giving the better ride out of all I have seen and read?! Also comes down to dollars and cents....

      New Measurements are:

      Front measures:
      Left = 803mm
      Right = 803mm

      Rear measures:
      Left = 830mm
      Right = 830mm

      After half a week of driving.

              [quote="lc120_man"]Hi All,

              This is prety much a copy of Jeff's post about suspension measurements (http://www.pradopoint.com/viewtopic.php?t=1056), however it is using a different way to measure the suspension lift. Theoretically is it should be a more precise way of measuring but it will only work if you have standard toyota 17" rims.. For other rims the figures would be different...

              Gilbo and i have photos on the post above showing 2 grandes. mine has the ATS upgrade gilbo's is standard. all measurments are taken from the centre of the hub to the under side of the guard. as per jeffs original post.
              thanks Adds

                      When quoting heights with the bilsteins in, it would be good to know what circlip position they're set to because it obviously makes a big difference. If you know of course

                        Airag Man Long Travel Air Suspension

                        Hi from all at Airbag Man.
                        We have now finished a longh travel full air suspension kit for the rear of 120 Prados, to suit a 2" lift height.

                        Prado 120 GXL Series 3 09/07
                        This is my daily driver/company test rig, measurements as follows:

                        Front
                        Standard with ARB Sahara bar and 2nd battery 731mm LHS 722mm RHS
                        2" Lift (TJM) with ARB Sahara bar and 2nd battery 790mm

                        Rear
                        Standard with 3rd row seats removed plus 60L Waeco on slide 774mm
                        2" Lift (Airbag Man) 830mm to 880mm (Slow speed extra clearance height)
                        Note that the driving height and suspension travel are not affected by weight so you get full clearance and travel even when fully loaded.
                        Our long travel kit includes custom shocks that provide more droop travel than any 2" lift kit, even with the sway bar fitted (our kit includes special bushes)

                          just finished this arvo fitting the raised ironman springs with bilsteins.
                          it was a DIY job. very happy at this stage with the extra clearance,
                          thou not quiet happy with the height at the front.
                          rear is good. a little firm, but with drawers happening soon, will be ok.

                          Front
                          :arrow: alloy bar w/cradle and winch, dual batteries =
                          720 before / 770 after.
