I did that, while acceptable, the OEM ones are much better.

http://www.amayama.com/ for about the same or less....

Easy as to pop out, I did mine from top of bonnet. Small blade screwdriver with a rag underneath so as not to scratch paint. 5 min to do, 20 to get the tools out!

    • Yeah, the Thai fleabay ones are bad. The spray is offset randomly and too much water comes out.

        • I used one of my trim removal tools to do it from the top. 2 minute job.

          • Another one done. $54 from Adelaide City Toyota, and less than 2 minutes to do the job. New ones are brilliant, would recommend starting from the front end of the car when you wedge them out with the screwdriver.

            Cheers Guys!

            • For those wanting to do this, I found a seller on ebay that sells aftermarket Hilux ones. About $16 a pair from Thailand

They're terrible. Uses too much water and uneven spray. Total waste of money. (from my experience - see my video somewhere on this thread)

                    • I have amended the first post now to replace the original information. Also there is an easier method to replace the washer jets without removing the soundproofing under the bonnet. The procedure is also in the first post.

                          • Ordered mine today. $26-90 each from Cessnock Toyota. 2 days to get them in.
Interestingly enough, he said that he had only sold one pair of these in the past 12 months. When I got to telling him about the mod, he started asking questions about why... so I told him about the spray pattern. He said that he will keep that in mind for next time someone enquires about them for their 120 series.

                            • Ordered new genuine jets from Ebay. Got them yesterday only to realise I bloody ordered the bloody same ones as I already have.
Note to brain : check part number before ordering
Dealer happy enough to exhange so just have to wait a bit longer...
