Look at the side of the radiator from the front. The rectangular end of the chassis pin is next to the radiator. The round end will poke out at the other side right next to the body mount.Comment

So after last nights effort investigating in a bath towel using the light on my phone i am slightly more enlightened on this.
1. My brackets look exactly like the one in the photo minus the center bolt.(other posts say that various dealers have or have not seen he need to fit these)
2. The chassis pins as per your above link are inserted through the chassis from the inside inline with the radiator (hense radiator partial removal to fit.)
3. The machined round locator fits in a location on the outside of the chassis rail.
4. Chassis pin (block) is threaded through hence the need for the spring washer on the bolt head side.
What are the definite indicators if the bod has been done?

It looks like the "recall" has been conducted on your bullbar and that there is a circlip on the outer/round end of the chassis pin.
I would fit the centre bolt in as it helps to anchor the bullbar further into the chassis.
However, you are fine to add the new winch cradle as it is compatible with your new bullbar mount.Comment

Either way will have a look this arvo and if there is no chassis pin i can machine a few up tomorrow, the circlip assists to retain the block so it doesn't vibrate in toward the radiator?

Pictures, part number, still available to purchase etc.

Fitted a winch cradle last week. Same part number as above. $211 from the local toyota dealership. So as of feb 2016 cradle is still available in sydneyComment
