    • I have been lurking for a bit now, as I just started the build of the Prado. I will join in more that it is a bit more off road worthy.
Saw youtube clips of PradoPoint SEQ crew in Glasshouse mountain trip.

Q; how do I contact or find this sub group as I am a Sunshine Coast owner?

      Thx

At the top of the page navigate to community and drop down to Groups. There you will find a number of groups. Not used as often any more so you're best off keeping an eye on the Trip Planning and Reports Section as generally this is where the trips are posted up. Hope to see you on the track Auscanclan

We have been pretty slack in recent times organizing anything. Mind you it's a bit wet and miserable around here ATM. Might have to arrange a weekend for when its warmer.

Oh and welcome to all the new guys

          Cheers Andrew

            • Hi all, new member here and don't own a Prado yet. I have a 97 80 series petrol/gas auto and absolutely love it but we are doing a lot more trips towing a 2t off road caravan and the 80 gets a bit thirsty... Although not as bad as some of the figures I have seen quoted from some of the petrol Prado boys...
Looking at buying a Prado so Will post post a new thread in the buying a prado section.

              Cheers, Claws

              • Hi Everyone,

Long time lurker. Thought I'd introduce myself and say thanks for all the tips and tricks on getting my Prado to where it is today and to start repaying the favour with a build write up for everyone that was in my position 2-3 years ago.

                I've got a 120 VX V6 auto.

                Cheers

I hope you got receipts for those mods... especially the wife one. They start out all shiny and new with great suspension and "tuned". After a while though the suspension sags, the accessory plugs become loose and may even stop charging if you can insert any accessories. They run rough, the paint peels an becomes dull, and the whole Tar thing gets out of proportion. Needless to say they are a VERY costly accessory with limited return on investment. I would attempt to get a refund now before its too late!

                          PS ----- welcome.

How often do you service it though?

                              • Hello,

all new from Holland, own a LC 90 SWB 2002 and a LC150 LWB 2011.

                                LC90:
                                -green
                                -diesel
                                -bullbar
                                -BFG AT
                                -snorkel
                                -tinted windows

                                LC150:
                                -white
                                -diesel
-nothing else changed... but I'm planning to change some things like the tires, bulbar, tinted windows, wrap the car.

Question: I want to change my original 265/60R18 tires for BFGoodrich AT or Cooper Discoverer STT. The Coopers look more aggressive but are they on road as good as the BFG's?

                                Regards, Arno
