Found the threads on this forum discussing the Mud Map app and GPS through Google so I'm here to help out members and answer questions straight form the horses mouth.

Love camping and 4WDing, wish I had more time to do it that's all. Been though the simpson, cape, fraser, canning, high country, barrington and weekenders around melb, yarra valley.

Even though i drive a Jeep now, i use to have a prado, sold due to cracked engine mount. Was a great tourer, got through most with good comfort and practical. It was a

Hi everyone, first time poster here. have been checking out pradopoint ever since I signed the dotted line for a 2013 GXL in graphite 3 weeks ago. Been losing a lot of sleep every day waking up @ 4:00am to get as much info as possible from this great forum about my new ride. I should be getting it some time next week, it's go through the pre-delivery stage at the moment.

it's going to be a big change for me, coming from a nissan 370z. Luckily i'm no stranger to forbies as the wife has a fully kitted out suzuki grand vitara, which has taken us everywhere with no dramas.

Hi PP, I am a newbie to PP and I just brought my first Prado GXL.

Model: GXL D4D turbo
Year:2007
Colour:white
Accessories:Arb bullbar, hella rally 1000 spot lights, 10000pound whinch, Airbags in rear,2 inch Lift kit in rear 1 inch on front, 150 series rims, ARB air compressor, front and rear air lockers, 40 chanel cb, dual batteries, electronic brake controller, toyota sheepskin seat covers, egt and turbo guages on A pillar, black widow rear draw system, beaudesert exhaust, ARB roof rack and snorkle.
Wishlist: I would love to get some bfg all terain tyres and lift the front up a bit.

What are great machine to drive but the roof cage dosnt fit in the garage so i have to put it on when I go camping. I love the info on PP and I know I am addicted to PP.

I brought the car with everything on it except for the 150series rims, the beaudesert exhaust and the a pillar guages.

i build & race off road buggies & trucks

i have been looking for quite a while for a Prado , and finaly got one Sept last year
i had a few issues getting logged on for the first time, but its all good now


i managed to pick up a cheap one through a freind in WA

it was a ex Hertz hire car, that had a a lot of stuff done to it
New Paint job
5 new tyres & rims ( they were only sunraisers & Hercules tyres) bu they were new

then i went shopping as most blokes do
picked up the following from either ebay or gumtree to have as spares or must haves
set of 5 GLX alloys ( 1 x New dunlop, 4 x coopers)
cargo barrier ( now for sale)

spare back window & rear door hardware
New rear door shell
Hilux wiper jets (THANKS PRADO POINT)
all plastic acc from Toyota (they were the cheaper price)

Hi from another newbie. Lurked here for a while getting some good info on what to look for. I finally bit the bullet and bought one a few weeks ago. Was tossing up between 150/120 but figured for the price, what you got extra on the 150 didn't make sense to us, so went for a 120.
