Hey, I've got a 2007 gxl prado diesel and I'm the second owner. The first owner had the injectors replaced with the injector recall in roughly 2010 (id have to check the exact dates of this) by the same Toyota service centre they bought it from. But I've recently had a 290,000km service done by a 4WD mechanic and they've assured me I need to replace them again within the next 2 or so months, he suggests with bailey injectors.
I was just wondering whether anyone has had to replace them twice ?
Maybe Toyota put the same faulty part back in ? If so can I get them to pay for it or at least half, as moneys a bit tight lately.
How should I go about getting a second opinion?
Just not very happy with this outcome and wouldn't mind some advice or outcomes of similar issues ?
