    Mrwinta's 150 GXL

    So I eventually got round to taking some pictures of my Prado to post on here.
    Upgrades so far: Rhino Rack, Stedi light bar front and back, Fyrlyts 5000, AFN bar, ARB UVP, Dobinson/Bilstein/Firestone suspension, GME UHF, Redarc dual battery, diff breathers EGR plate and a few other little bits here and there.

    Looking nice. Don't see AFN bars often, fit looks really good.

      Nice set up, how does it go towing the Bar Crusher? what sort of economy on the freeway towing it?

          haha they are for the Hobie Outback Kayak.. they work incredibly well and they double as rod holders etc...

            It does ok but not as good as the 2.5 D40 Navara did. 100-110 sucks the juice at about 20L/100 km but if i'm sitting at 95 it seems quite happy and gives about 15L/100 Km, the torque lockup activates and the transmission sits at 87*C... makes a trip north a bit boring but you just got to sit back and enjoy the drive. Must say its great at the ramp and also beach launch retrieve (touch wood)..

              Thanks... it took spacers and a lot of f**ink about to get it to fit good... Everything to do with AFN and the supplier/installer was a shambles but I am very happy with the end result- I have since moved the LED Light bar from the roof to underneath the Spotties and it looks mint. I will throw a picture up some time when I am home.
