  • Tail Light Fuse shorting problem

Hi guys, I wonder if I can tap into your expertise? I'm having an issue with the tail light fuse blowing but can't track down the issue. I've followed the wiring all the way back as detailed as I can including in the tail light assemblies and inside the rear door and number plate lights. I've also checked all the trailer plug wiring and plug. When I replace the fuse I can't easily recreate the issue. I've had the car sit there with tail lights on for 30 min without the fuse blowing. I've tried turning all the lights on including indicators and reverse lights. The only thing that has recreated the issue is when the tail light switch is on with the truck off, then leaving the switch on I start the car and it immediately blows. However if I have the switch off then start the car and then turn the switch on, all seems well. I'm stumped, so any tips would be awesome!!! Cheers Cam
